When winter rolls around, the Nabana no Sato botanical garden in Japan transforms into a brilliant walkable light show, with this display featuring over 7 million LEDs. The park on the island of Nagashima is known as one of the best winter light shows in all of Japan, though we’re curious as to what exactly would beat this. The theme of this display was “The Great Nature,” with scenes showing the sunrise at Mt. Fuji, a gorgeous rainbow.
With so many beautiful lights surrounding you, it seems as if you’re walking into some amazing fantasy world, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The annual light display opens at the beginning of the winter season and runs through March. See more on the site of handmade crafts
